Canalda is a village in the eastern part of the municipality of Odèn, forming an EMD since 1973.

Canalda is a village in the eastern part of the municipality of Odèn, forming an EMD since 1973. The town is about 18.31 km². It is north of Solsona, on the southern slope of the Sierra de Querol. So go out there, among others, the stream of Canalda, Urdoll Torrent of the Coll de Jou Rasa Rasa and enchanting. To the east is the Sierra de Gums, and to the west of the Puig Sovereign. It is connected by county road with Oden and San Lorenzo de Morunys Coll de Jou and local road Lladurs and Solsona.

The Romanesque parish church is dedicated to Sant Julià. The apse square are the IX-X century. The bell tower, the nave and the portal is twelfth century, while the sacristy and the cruise are baroque, eighteenth century. Canalda, along with pictures of Gums, had already had own city council mid-nineteenth century, although there is no record of when he joined Oden.
